So today was a special day. My kids started at their new school. I was contemplating stopping off for cupcakes but time got away from me I just didn't have time. So I thought, inspired by the beautiful fall colors I would make an apple crisp. Almost homemade!
1 Can Caramel Apple pie filling
1 Box Betty Crocker Gluten free sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup apple cider
In 9x9 pan, empty pie filling. Cover with the cookie mix. Top with pats of butter and the 1/4 cup of cider. Bake 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
